Yesterday we bought three little goldfish. You should have seen how excited Asher was to be carrying the little plastic bag on the car ride home! ALL he talks about are those fish. Asher decided to name them Nemo, Nemo & Elmo. He just sits there watching them & talking to them for hours. He is quite a responsible pet owner for only being 2. They bring him lots of joy, as you can see...
My mom and sister put bets on how long these fish would be alive. The guessed one would be dead by tomorrow & the other two within 2 weeks. Sadly, Nemo 1 passed away this morning. I found him under Collin's bum. Still not sure how he got there/who the culprit was. I put the bowl up WAY high. We had naps. As soon as Asher woke up, he began asking for his fish. To my astonishment, Elmo was floating at the top. What the heck?!
So the current count stands...
Maybe this is why they only cost 28 cents each?

Love the pictures, Cortney. You should seriously get a beta fish...they are indestructible. Chante had one and I think she forgot to feed it for about three months and it still lived!
We had goldfish for about a month and we just kept replacing the dead ones. LOL!! but one lived the entire month. :) How fun!!
