Oh, these two...

These are my current favorite pictures of Asher and Collin. I look at these and I laugh. Maybe because the picture sequence happened over the span of 2 seconds, but mostly because this just about sums things up. Most days, anyway.

Side note: normally I'm pretty anal about car seat safety. (Thanks Alicia!) This was a desperate time & desperate measure, so yeah.

2 Avengers & a Dragon

Seth was a pro at trick-or-treating! He would bee-line straight for the porch & start banging his chubby little fists against the door. It was seriously cute & funny! I'm discovering that Sethie has a well-developed sweet tooth for a 1 year old. :)

Gettin' Punkins

Once again we headed to Petersen's Family Farm to grab our pumpkins. The only bummer was that this year they were charging for tractor rides. Lame!

After grossing me out by sticking his hand in a rotted pumpkin, Asher saw this little warty pumpkin & immediately claimed it as his. :)

Collin was indecisive & ultimately had Dad help him choose.

And little ol' Sethie just went exploring.

Halloween-ness

We moved into our home with only a few days to go until Halloween. I had been feeling guilty that I hadn't had time to do very many crafty things with the boys, so I chose just two activities (cookie decorating & the pumpkin patch) to squeeze in & help the holiday feel festive.

Once again, the boys could have cared less about actually decorating their cookies. Collin got into it a bit more than his brothers & we ended up with some really yummy creations!

Dino Museum

One of the great things about living in Utah is that the state has great Natural History. It's a geology & paleontology dream! This particular museum was really kid-friendly with all sorts of hands-on exhibits. Asher and Collin's favorite part was the outer-space tunnel. Thanks to Uncle Scott for coming along and playing alongside us!

Thank goodness for those small little signs next to exhibits that explain what's going on...because, on first glance, I didn't realize that this one animal attacking another. Like, to eat it.
