family & the after party

After Collin's party we headed to the Red Iguana for some delicious Mexican food. I tried mole for the first time and loved it! The little boys inhaled their burritos. This weekend, though warm, was so fun & relaxed & just cool. I loved it and I love my family! I'm also really gonna miss this backyard when we move in September...ps- We love and missed you Derek & Tara!

This sequence cracks me up!:

I think he was feeling overwhelmed with all the people staring & coaxing him to try the cake. He was much happier when mama gave him fruit instead. That's my boy! :)

One Year Ago Today...

this perfect little baby was born. Nate, Collin and I had a sweet morning together in bed talking about his birth story & reviewing this past year of his little life. I feel so grateful to have Collin for a son. He is so spunky and fun and we love him so much! We had his party yesterday...it was very cute, if I do say so myself! I'll post more about that later.
