Bartlett Christmas Re-cap

You know what, I've changed my mind about the whole picture thing...(I'm the author, I can do that.) Based off the number of comments I average, hardly anyone reads this thing anyway, so I am just gonna post however many pictures I want. :) Hazah!!

Some of my favorite pictures of our week-long Bartlett Christmas: playing games into all hours of the night, the food., my 26th Birthday- dinner at La Colterra & hotel- thanks Derek!!, watching Asher and Collin on Christmas morning, decorating the "tacky" tree, decorating cookies...
(sorry these are all out of order!)

Clegg Christmas Re-cap

I'm trying to be a bit more selective in the pictures that I post on the blog- it's so hard! Some of my favorite memories of our "Christmas" (Dec 19th) with the Cleggs: games with Rob & Melynee, baking cookies, acting out the Nativity story, & gift exchange. Here are some favorite shots:

they really do LOVE each other

I feel grateful that Asher remains mostly indifferent to Collin, because I've heard horror stories of how some toddlers react to new(er) siblings...I know that when Collin is a bit older, they'll be the best of buds. I know because I walked in on this today...

morning ritual

After morning juice & cuddles with mommy and daddy in bed, Nate starts getting ready for work and my job begins too...

It's about 8:15am. I plop Asher down in front of the Tv & put Collin in his chair with a toy. They are quiet and occupied which means that I can make breakfast, check emails, clean up a bit & do whatever else I can fit into the 30 minutes that Elmo or the Little Einsteins have alloted me.

I was laughing while downloading pictures from my camera this morning...check this out- 2 different mornings this week, but same pajamas, same mesmerized expressions, same toy. Talk about a morning ritual!

We're all kinds of JOLLY around here

Picking out a tree...

Decorating to the nostalgic tunes of Mannheim Steamroller...

Stockings hung by the "we don't have a chimney so this will have to work" ...

This will be our first year spending Christmas just our little family...I think we'll be a bit lonely for family and it might be a little too quiet around here, but I'm also excited and looking forward to watching Asher open his presents! Speaking of Asher, does anyone have any ideas for toddler-friendly Christmas projects?

Oh, and Collin says "hi!"
