September 10th was the day we found out that I was pregnant with #3. We were really excited and shocked and happy! And then a small part of me began to worry about how having another little baby would affect Asher. I have heard more than a few people (who were the oldest kids in their families) say that each new sibling was hard on them. It divided their parents time & attention even more.
So I took comfort in the idea of having regular mommy-daddy-child dates. We took Asher out on a date that same night to the movies- his first ever in a theater! We saw Toy Story 3 and ate popcorn and red vines. The part Nate and I loved the best was watching Asher watch the movie- he was completely enthralled and sat still for the entire thing. Asher now asks to go see "toy movies" quite often. A sign of a good time!
We look forward to taking Collin out on a date as well. And we look forward to loving on all THREE of our babies. :) For those of you who wanted to know, I am due in May. (Yes, I know. I am not that far long. It's hard for me to keep happy news a secret!)

Love the date idea. I heard Toy Story 3 was hilarious! A May baby, at least you won't be in Phoenix where it's 112 again!
I remember the first time each of you went to the movies for the very first time....dad & I had more fun watching you kids! So wide-eyed with amazement :-)
Love & Miss you all!

3 kids is great. With each new baby there are more for the oldest to love and be loved by.
We take T.J. on dates too. Once a month with dad, once a month with mom and try to swing a mom and dad one once in a while.
