This afternoon Nate and Asher took Collin to Urgent Care after he cut his fingers pretty badly on a fireplace vent. I arrived just in time for the fun part- holding him down while they numbed his middle finger and put in 3 stitches. Collin is one STRONG little boy! It took 4 people to hold him still. My attempts at bribery only worked for part of the time. :) I hated having my little baby in so much pain...he was such a trooper and now has a pretty funny bandage! (Sorry for the quality of the pics- they were taken on my iphone.)

Poor buddy! Glad to hear he's okay. Let's see how long he keeps that cool....umm....bandage on!

Poor Collin. I'm glad he's ok. I agree that those little kids are very strong! We figured that out when Erik was about 18 months old and had to get a cut on his chin glued. Not fun! At least he has a cool bandage. he'll love that when he gets older! :)
Awww man, is this your first set of stiches? We haven't had any either. With boys I'd imagine you'll be in urgent care a few more times as they grow - why are boys so much crazier than girls?

Oh poor little guy!!! I hate to say this(I probably shouldn't)...but he looks toooo cute drinking his bottle with his little bandaged up finger! lol :) Still, it just breaks my heart!
