Today was one of those days where I can honestly say that Nate & I did a great job with our boys. We were good to them and did right by them. We loved them. We kissed, cuddled and hugged them into oblivion. We wrestled and played instead of parking them in front of the Tv. We laughed and read so so many books instead of playing with our iPhones. We were patient...like when Asher pulled a big bowl of left-over spaghetti off the kitchen counter and proceeded to squish the food between his little feet. It was funny to watch him having such a good time!
We taught them- fun things like words & colors & counting. (Ok, mostly Asher on that one!) We tried to let them know how special & precious they are.
We tried to be good examples to them- in our relationship with each other, in kindness...
We had fun.
And when we say our prayers together tonight, I know that we will feel that Heavenly Father was happy with how we took care of HIS children. After all, they are on loan to us.

Good for you! That's my goal each day, but it's so easy to get "sidetracked". You guys do good everyday, I'm sure. The boys are adorable! Can't wait to see you guys when you come visit again.

Thank-you for sharing these pictures and this post...it sure makes dad and I feel good about how we raised you - you love and appreciate the gift of being a parent, just as we did and still do.
Nate & Asher look like they are totally enjoying being together...and Collin...is so trying to figure out this "camera thing" in his face, such concentration!

I'm glad you guys survived "hell" week with all the sickness and are now enjoying eachother germ free. I'm glad you guys are so happy, warms my heart.
