Our Little Man

Asher is officially one month old! At this point in his little life he enjoys nursing, taking naps in his swing, being toted around in the baby bjorn (especially when he's working on poops!), going for walks outside, taking over dad's spot in bed and cuddling with mom when daddy leaves for work, and he seems to love staring at lights and our red curtains.

Asher has cute little quirks that are a testament to the fact that he is OUR son. For example, he sneezes in 2's and 3's just like his dad and has long chicken legs (and big ol' feet) that are constantly kicking. He's definitely a water baby like his mom- he cries when we take him out of his bath! "Squirrels" tends to have a more thoughtful disposition...furrowing his little eyebrows while he stares intently. Asher is also chubbing up quite nicely- at a doctor's visit 2 weeks ago, he weighed in at over 8lbs and 21 inches.

We love being parents...the most rewarding part for Nate and I is when he smiles and makes all those cute baby noises- and no, it's not "just gas!" haha!
