Blessing

I know I'm a bit behind on updates...if I can shower, eat & rest in one day I feel very lucky! Anyway, about 2 weeks ago Grandma & Grandpa Bartlett and Uncle Derek flew in for Asher's blessing in church. I was really nervous that he would cry through it, but he slept calmly through the whole thing! Nate gave a very beautiful blessing (I got a little choked up)...I'm so grateful to have such a special little baby.

Since the weather was gorgeous, we headed to the park for some pictures. I had noticed Asher's bottom feeling a little warm while we were taking them...silly me, I thought it was just pee! haha! that was wishful thinking! When we got home, I went to change him and started cracking up when I saw the huge brown stain on the back on his little white outfit! He totally sharted! Thank goodness for oxyclean...

Derek was particularly cute with Asher. He was always asking to hold him, give him a bottle, etc. By the end of their short visit here, D seemed totally comfortable holding him & was very patient during the baby's fussy moments. Just don't mention anything about breastfeeding/breastmilk...it freaked him out! :)

Like his cousin Bobby, Asher LOVES being naked. The minute his diaper comes off, he starts kicking and smiling...it's really cute!

Thanks mom and dad for doing so much around the house for us while you were here- you're the best house guests!! We love you and can't wait to visit in April...
