I've been putting off this particular blog post for a couple of weeks, only because words can't express how grateful I am for my parents and all they've done for our little family. I don't think we could have survived Asher's first week home if it hadn't been for my mom coming to help. She fed us, kept the house spotless, gave us breaks in the middle of the night, and even made sure we had "welcome home" gifts. Simple things like giving Asher a bath, feeding/burping him, getting him dressed, and getting him to sleep were a lot harder than I had anticipated! (not to mention trying to learn all this when you are sore & exhausted...) It was great to have my dad fly in for a few days- Asher loved Grandpa Bartlett's repertoire of primary songs! Anyway, thanks mom & dad...you guys are the best!
