The boys loved exploring the area around the house & chilling inside reading books, playing games and playing with cousins.
On Thursday we went to the beach. You can wade in knee deep water for nearly 100 feet- the water was warm, but the cool breezes had the kids feeling chilly after a little while. And yes, I was that redneck mom who let her kids go swimming in their clothes. In my defense, I thought the water would be much colder than it was & that they would only want to play in the sand. Boy was I wrong! Sorry for all the pics, I had a hard time narrowing them down...
The next day we went to the Lava Hot Springs. To be honest, I don't think it was worth the drive. Maybe in a few years, when the kiddos are older it will be. But Eden sure looked cute in her little swimsuit. The water was so warm that she feel asleep in my arms pretty quickly. We stopped long enough to visit Paris too!
After the Hot Springs, we raced back for a hot-dog/s'more roast. Nobody enjoyed those s'mores & the campfire songs more than Seth!
We topped off the whole trip with a visit to La Beau's for some grub & a famous raspberry shake.
