These poor boys have a pretty intense case of cabin fever, so it was a good thing that today was absolutely gorgeous & in the 60's. They played until they were dirty & sun-soaked. I think everyone needed that.
The past 5 days have been insanely difficult for Nate and me. It began on Wednesday when I had a falling out with Collin's preschool teacher. Later, we got some good news- I was dilated 2cm & 70% effaced...we braced ourselves for a weekend baby. Wednesday night we attempted to transition Seth into a toddler bed in the older boys' room (bad idea) & then later Nate headed to the ER with Asher. Turns out he had an ear infection. Thursday night, Asher threw up about 4 times. Friday, Seth joined Asher on the puking & pooing. Friday afternoon/night, I started having hard back-labor contractions. They would come every 3-4 minutes & last about 45 seconds. Twice that night we prepped to go to the hospital & twice the contractions would just disappear whenever I would get up and start moving. Saturday through today, every night we have been up with sick kids or contractions. Check engine light came on in the van. Noticed water staining and cracked ceiling under our MBath tub...
See what I mean? Week from h-e-double hockey sticks. And now Nate is getting sick. Nice.
Anyway, I believe I've taken a picture at exactly 37 weeks, 2 days with each of my babies. I didn't want Eden to be the exception, so here we have it... Maybe not the most flattering shirt for my rear-end, but I like that it makes my belly look so cute & bubbly.
I am anxious for everyone around here to be healthy. I know our washing machine would appreciate a break. :) I am desperately hoping that Eden turns into an anterior position so that I don't have to deal with back labor. (Doing exercises to help with that.) I am especially excited to hold our little girl and bring her home. So that's it! Hoping my next post will feature a certain stubborn, darling little lady...

You are the most beautiful pregnant lady I have ever seen.
Oh my gosh, you have to read the week we're having too! It's horrible :) Hang in there, I think Eden is a smart little girl and will wait until you are all healthy before making her grand debute. She'll want to be the main event afterall, not who just pooed their pants - ha!
I agree with your hubby, you look beautiful and super cute!
Dear Cortney...Have been waiting for news from your house....Holy Toledo, you guys have been sooo busy with sick children and now Nate.....I am hoping you don't get what they have....You do look cute and happy pregnant, but, I am sure you are getting anxious to meet Ms. Eden, as we all will be so glad to see her....Best Wishes to you sweetheart, and let us know when baby is here....(enjoy your rest in the hospital, and stay for awhile to catch up on your rest...Love you!, xoxoxoxoxoxo

You look like an absolute doll! Remember I told you how I walked around for 2 weeks 70% effaced and dialated to a 3-4 cm with Tessa. I agree with Morgan, Eden is waiting for everyone to be all healthy before making her entrance :-)
I'll see all of you in a month - can't wait!! xxxooo Mom B.
