I've been trying to make sure that we have plenty of religious & service activities scattered in alongside our Santa-ish activities. We watched a beautiful new video depicting the Nativity. In fact, all the new Bible Videos have been really well-done, I highly recommend them. I'm kind of digging the British accents. :) Again, the boys understand that Christmas is a birthday party for Jesus. I'm working on helping them to understand that His birthday is especially important because we are so excited & grateful that our Savior was willing to come to earth! This isn't the same video we watched last Sunday, but it's become one of my favorites.
Day 3: Zoo Lights
The lights were great! Most of the big animals were sleeping, but it was fun to visit the nocturnal creatures. I love that Seth made a growling noise for pretty much every animal. :) The boys got to see reindeer and had fun playing among the lights.
