Sunday, October 30 was a special day for Seth because he received his baby blessing. (For those unfamiliar with this, it's a time when a new child is presented to the Lord and given a blessing to start out his life.) My favorite part was when he was told that he was named for two wonderful men- the first, Seth, was Adam & Eve's son. (Our) Seth was blessed that he would be righteous, steadfast & full of faith like him. He was also named for Sebastian (the guy who introduced Nate & me) and Seth was blessed to have great charity in his heart, just like Shebby. He was promised many other sweet things which I wrote down in his baby book.
We are honored to be Seth's parents- we recognize that he is first and foremost Heavenly Father's son. What an amazing & humbling responsibility we feel to try to be the best parents possible to our children. They are pretty awesome! (and crazy & hilarious & sweet & full of energy. LOTS and LOTS of energy...) We love each of them so much.
