Halloween

I may not have sprung for new costumes this year (I was a bit busy with a new baby), but I had the boys rehearse the trick-or-treat door approach number of times so they would be pros for Halloween night. The neighborhood we live in is ideal for candy collecting! We read lots of Halloween books (thanks Grandma & Grandpa B!) & even had a fanciful breakfast. Bats & ghosts hanging from the ceiling, mummy cups & pumpkin pancakes. Collin's was constantly saying, "Happy Ha-ow-een!!". The boys lived in their monkey & lion costume.

They also had lots of fun with their Aunties on the big night.

And of course, it was Seth's first Halloween. He was my tired little sweet pea!

Woohoo....what a lucky Lion and Monkey to be Trick or Treating with such good-lookin aunties! I loved what one of your neighbors said to Bri, "Wellll Officer, it's so good to see we have you keeping the neighborhood safe!" ;-)
