I have neglected giving you all pregnancy-related updates, and for that I feel sad...I don't want our little baby boy to be reading back through this blog someday and be like, "um...so, did you not care that you were pregnant with me??" I have been keeping a weekly pregnancy journal though, so that oughta be worth something, right? :)
This week's entry read:
Week 36
Energy: Moments of energy surges & moments of complete exhaustion...I am SO nesting.
Mood: Anxious, excited, nervous about the delivery, but Nate & I have been giving me pep talks.
Appetite: HUNGRY- I think the baby has dropped because I can eat a lot more in one sitting. Midnight snacks are becoming regular- thanks to Nate for getting those for me. :)
Sickness: Upset stomach, but only a couple of heartburn episodes.I've been crampy off & on- contractions I suppose.
Appt 7/7: No change, I'm still dilated 1.5cm & 50% effaced. (same as last Thursday). I tried not to feel bummed by the news, reminding myself that we have lots still to do to get ready for our baby boy! Everything we've been doing this week (pre-registration, installing the infant carseat, washing baby clothes, etc.) has made it feel very REAL that he will be here soon! YAY!
Nate gave me a beautiful blessing the other night- I was told that this would be a smooth delivery like Asher's was and that I would feel empowered as a woman with my body. (lots of other lovely things were said, but too many to list!)
*hopefully I'll get some belly shots & pics of the hospital gown & nursing cover I made posted tomorrow...

Pictures! We NEED pictures!! Ha ha ha! I hope you and Nate are doing well. I cast my vote for what your baby should be named! It looks like the tribes of Clegg REALLY ARE coming about!
