my boys

I can't believe one week has already passed since little Collin was born. In fact, I've been quite emotional about it...I'll never be able to get this week back, and all too soon I am going to forget just how tiny & soft & precious Collin is at this moment. I love how he still prefers to have his knees tucked up by his chest- froggy style- just like how he was in the womb. I love watching him sleep and how he pulls a thousand different faces in a minute. I love it when he's awake and looking at everything in his new home so intently.

I'm feeling the same way about Asher too! When I came home from the hospital, I could swear that he had grown & was doing so many new big boy things...like folding his arms whenever food is blessed, taking my hand and leading me places around the house, or purposefully doing silly things to make us all laugh- putting on adult-sized shoes and parading around the house, roaring at mom to make her squeal, shaking his head "no" & rolling his eyes...

Collin's first official outing was to the park, although he slept in his carseat the entire time. :) Big brother Asher enjoyed chasing the ducks and couldn't hold still long enough for me to get a picture of my 3 boys. (I still have yet to get a decent one of him & Collin.)

So fun, glad to hear you got out of the house. I'm sure it was great to streatch your legs a bit.
Everyone looks great, how are you feeling?

Oh!! Your boys are so cute! And I totally agree that when you bring that new baby home, all of the sudden the older one seems to have grown up so much!! TOO FAST!!

Cute, cute boys!

Thanks for the encouraging words. Wow, tongue-tied, huh? That's great that they had a solution to your problem. Is it going better now, I hope?

I had serious problems nursing Bryson, too. I pumped for 4 miserable months because Bryson had an "oral aversion" (whatever the heck that is). I had hoped this baby would be a strong little eater, but that hasn't been the case thus far. We'll see.

Thanks again for "outing yourself." Good luck as a mother of two!
