ugh.

I was so proud of myself this morning. I blended a fabulous, protein-packed* smoothie complete with wheat germ, yogurt, milk, frozen fruit...yum, right? SO WRONG. One second I was takin' a swig, and the next I was bent over Asher's high chair tray puking my guts out. Several times. (Hey, it was the closest item available!) Come to remember, those frozen peaches had been in our freezer for a LOOOONG time. Stupid peaches.

My pregnancy with Asher consisted of exhaustion and nausea the first trimester and vomiting/ painstaking efforts to gain weight the second. This pregnancy seems to be no different. Does that mean it's a boy?? :)

* I LOVED the child birth classes we took with Asher, especially the diet they put together. I highly recommend this diet to ANY pregnant lady. It's meant to keep you low-risk, grow healthy babies, and help you achieve a nice, healthy weight gain. They even have cool little sheets to help you keep track of everything! If anyone's interested, just drop me a line...

John Woolfenden would tell you it's a girl if you are getting more sick.
I can tell you it's a baby, and each pregnancy is different.

Bummer! Good try on the protein smoothie - nothing more frusterating than eating the perfect meal and then throwing it all up 10 seconds later! Makes you want to just eat saltines and say screw it huh! :)

So glad you've hit that magical 12-week mark and are feeling "better."
(I would love to have a copy of that diet some time.)

Let me just say that so far, not to scare you, but two kids is really hard!! I keep wondering what in the ^%$# I'm going to do when my mom goes home. Enjoy the pregnancy if you can cause I'm telling ya, it's crazy when you have two. I'm sure it'll get better, but for now, I'm overwhelmed. Oh, it may not be a boy, my kids were both the same symptoms and everything and I have one of each, so there's hope for a girl. I'll let you know how long before things start to normalize!!
