free bird

Asher has outgrown his infant bath seat and has graduated to the tub! He absolutely loves it! He is such a silly boy- lately he has been carrying things around in his mouth...it's pretty funny! We bought a new Baby Einstein DVD for Asher- it was called "Baby's First Sounds" or something like that- I DO NOT recommend it! They attempt to teach your child, like, fifty different languages- no lie! I was confused! I am all for bilingual babies, but do they really need to learn how to sing "Twinkle Twinkle" in Hebrew?? Haha! Oh well- Asher seemed to enjoy parts of it. He actually CHOSE to sit this close to the Tv...poor kid. This may be a sign that he has inherited his parents really bad eye sight!
Brand new car seat...he looks a little unsure of things.
We are in the process of selling our 4Runner, so last night Nate and I decided to get the car cleaned out from our campout last weekend. I was vacuuming the backseats and asked Nate to keep an eye on Asher who was rolling around the garage in his walker. All of the sudden, I hear Nate (who turned his back just for a few seconds) yell to me, "Hey! Where is Asher?!" I spun around- no Asher in sight. Just then, we hear a car honking in the street outside...Asher had rolled out our garage, through the cobblestone courtyard and was a couple of feet into the road by our house!! I went sprinting over to get him, my heart beating out of my chest- the older guy in the sedan was laughing, "Wow! He was flying!" Asher, of course, had enjoyed his escape a great deal. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to Heavenly Father for keeping him safe...that could have gone so very wrong! I just love our little baby so much...so many "what ifs" have been running through my mind...another lessoned learned.

Aaah so scary!! Kids are always freaking you out with something crazy - even when they're 7 months old! I like the pic of him in the bath.

If it wasn't for Heavenly Father no babies would make to be one years olds. They are full of miracles! glad he is safe! :)

Holy cow, I would have had a panic attack! I'm glad it all ended up okay though. At least he was in his walker and not crawling...that thing is kind of like a giant bumper car :) It'll make for a cute story later on when it's not so fresh in your mind. :)
