Christmas Advent: Days 3-24

Day 3: Watched Rudolph & Frosty (at least the older 2 did)

Day 4: Elfie returns, for better or for worse (although half the time the kids don't notice him)

Day 5: We got too busy to do our Letters to Santa.
Day 6: Letters to Santa

Day 7 *double up because of Day 5: Christmas-y breakfast & Aunt Bri's birthday party

Day 7 *double up because of Day 5: Christmas-y breakfast & Aunt Bri's birthday party
Day 8: Christmas Devotional
Day 9: Marshmallow Snowmen
I already packed up our Christmas bins & forgot to take pictures of these! They were pretty cute. Although, they were almost unrecognizable since the boys kept eating marshmallows off them over the weeks leading up to Christmas. (Glue & all!)
Day 10: Grinch Movie
Day 11: Light a fire, snuggle in blankets, read Christmas booksDay 12: Wrap Presents and Paper Snowflakes

Day 13: Collin's Christmas Program & Gingerbread House decorating

Collin is one cute Christmas Elf! This year he had a speaking line in the program, "First we have the dolls!". He nailed it, despite his partner being absent. Maybe one of these years I will be able to watch the program/snap pictures without wrestling a baby at the same time. :)

The finished product! Which I had to move up & away after a few days, since candy kept mysteriously disappearing. :)

Day 14: Gingerbread Snowmen book & cozy fire
The fireplace has gotten more use this winter & we are loving it.Day 15: Christmas Mormon Messages
We especially loved this one:

Day 16: Santa Sack
As a family, we went through our closets & toy collection to find items to donate to families in need. We put all the items in a special sack, the idea being that Santa would collect the items & replace them with some of the new toys they asked for.
Day 17: Lights at Temple Square
We met up with Scott & Tessa and had a wonderful, chilly time!

Day 18: Fudge
Day 19: Worked on getting neighbor gifts ready

Day 20: I honestly can't remember what we did this day & I am kicking myself for not writing it down!
Day 21: Sugar Cookie Decorating
Day 22: Christmas Sunday
I'm also kicking myself that I couldn't find her bloomers to match this outfit (which were simply hanging up...duh.)

Day 23: My 30th Birthday!
Day 24: Christmas Eve at the Clegg's house, came home & read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas & A Book of Mormon Christmas

Sadly, I lost tons of my pictures that I took over Christmas when my iPhone crashed. But hey! At least I am finally getting this post done!

Dear Cortney,
First off, I'm not sure how you have any time in your day to be so creative and fun with the kids, let alone take pictures, write posts, etc., etc. You are a wonderful Mom and Nate is such a great Dad! Second, I just love all the pictues of the boys and Eden, especially in front of the Christmas tree. Thanks for posting them - it's easier for me to find pictures to brag on them.
Love you,
Dad
