Thought that response was sweet. Although most days, I think he would've answered NASA astronaut.

I used to worry a lot about Asher. The poor kid seemed to have everything stacked against him. But something magical happened this last year...he really came into his own with the help of some great teachers & his own efforts. And so I don't worry...as much. :)

He's quietly sensitive & often pensive. Mature and intelligent. He has taken to reading like a duck to water...but he's great in the water too & told me the other day that he really wants to do swim lessons again. He is an absolute sweetheart & so gentle and cuddly, especially with babies and animals and mama. He is obsessed with anything space-related, as you may have noticed. He makes good choices, even when it's hard. We love our big boy! Happy Birthday Asher!
