ADVENT: Days 16-24

Day 16: Wrap presents
Sorry, no picture of this. I LOVE wrapping presents- I'm known in my house as the "gift wrapping Nazi". So I'll be darned if my boys don't leave our home in 13 years knowing how to wrap a present.
Day 17: Ice Cream Cone Trees
We loved having Savannah & Charlotte join in on this one. It was fun to see the different approaches to decorating. Savannah meticulously decorated her tree. It looked how I was expecting them to turn out. My boys, on the other hand, half-heartedly decorated their trees...but they ATE the frosting with a lot of gusto!

Day 18: Pine Cone Pom-Pom Trees
To be honest, this one was kind of a dud. Not nearly as cute as it looked on pinterest. Collin & Nate got into it a bit though.

Day 19: School Christmas Program
The boys did so great! Collin was more of an observer/chatterbox. Asher was always on cue. And mommy got to wrestle Sethie, a DSLR, video phone & all our winter coats & gear in one teeny folding chair. :) So, so worth it. I was beaming!

Day 20: Lights at Temple Square
I filled mugs with hot chocolate while Daddy loaded up the boys. We got to the city & it was too dang cold to go outside. (I kind of regret that now. This is the second year in a row when we have just done a drive-by.) Still pretty though.

Day 21: Christmas Aprons

Day 22: Celebrated Mom's B-Day (it's actually on the 23rd, but we decided to celebrate on Saturday instead.)
I had the BEST day! I thought for sure I would want to sleep in, un-interrupted by kiddos, but instead I really just wanted to cuddle them in bed. So we did that for a bit & by 9am we were at Target ready to grocery shop. After that we went to the Sweet Tooth Fairy, IKEA, and then I had pedicures & Cafe Rio with Tessa & Bri. Came home, sang happy birthday and ate cupcakes, then we took off for SLC & Takashi sushi. Yum! We had some time to kill before seeing the Hobbit at 10, so we hit up the mall for a little window shopping. I discovered Janie & Jack and probably could have dropped a few hundred dollars on baby girl clothes. By the time we got home at 1AM I was totally pooped. (Even though I had slept through about one-third of the movie.) Anyway, like I said. BEST day.

Day 23: Sugar Cookies!
(See above apron pictures) I loved this sequence though...Seth was "helping" Collin & eating stuff off his sheet...

Day 24: Clegg Festivities & Nativity
Collin wouldn't be a wiseman, he wanted to be a dragon. So he got to wear both hats & became the "Dragon King". Nice. Asher was supposed to be a shepard, but he won't do anything anymore unless it involves space, shuttles or NASA. Aunt Ruth had the brilliant idea to have him be our star & he did so with great care & joy.
