On our way home, we passed an ambulance, which reminded me that I needed to tell the boys that Daddy was going to have surgery in a few days. (this Wednesday) I explained that his nose was broken & that he was gonna go to the hospital to have it fixed. (Nate has never been able to breathe through his nose.) Daddy would have to get some "pokes"...poor Daddy!
Collin then launched into a barely discernable rant...he was pretty ticked off about something. Nate and I kept catching words like, "daddy's nose....punch his lights out....hurt..." All the while making fist punching motions.. He then pointed to the guy in the car next to us and said, "that guy...punch his lights out...a-hurting Daddy's nose." HAHAAAA!! We finally figured it out! Collin was under the impression that the guy in the car next to us was going to hurt Daddy's nose with pokes & Collin, being fiercly loyal to his Dad, was going to take care of business. Light-punching-out style. I quickly cleared up the confusion (while laughing) & when Collin finally understood he said, "Ooohh. Sorry!"
He is just plain scrappy. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog. But how tough can you really be when you walk around with hot chocolate dribbles on your cute little lips??
Guess who landed himself in urgent care yesterday? Yup, our Sethie. 101 temp, blocked nasal passages, miserable guy. We walked away with a crying baby (they had to do some deep nasal suctioning) & an Rx for another ear infection. His second since having tubes. Lousy things...they were supposed to be our cure-all! All the while he is teething too. Check out Sir Red-Beard (spitting up lots from all the teething drool) and his scrumptious thighs!
We were cuddling him in bed this morning & Nate said, "Even though Seth is really sick all the time, I think that when he gets better he will actually be a really good baby. He is so smiley already. He seems like he will be really laid-back, like me." I think he's right. :)
OK. Ignore the whining in this next one (I will NOT share my camera, thank you) & check out those eyes...they are the same color as his Dad's. Asher starts soccer this April- yay!
Such a goofy little love bug...

Oh, and there is house-building drama. I just don't feel like getting into it all right now. Let's just say we will be building (something like) this beauty instead, ready in about 1 year.

So sorry to hear Seth is still getting ear infections. I bet it's from the teething. Hopefully when he's through most of that they'll settle down. Katherine is starting soccer too, so funny! House looks great.
