Last week we headed to Thanksgiving Point to visit Farm Country. I knew it would be a big hit with Asher- ALL he talks about are animals...he will not go to sleep unless he has his Tiger, Puppy & Monkey close by. It's very cute. Collin also digs stuffed animals. He sleeps with a jaguar in his crib.
Asher's favorite animlas? The chickens and goats. He cried whenever I would even suggest checking out the other animals.
Collin had his first-ever pony ride. He tolerated it. He looks like a little lone ranger...
Collin acts a lot like I
Guess who started sucking his thumb at 16 months? Yup, our little "doodle" does it all the time now. I love this next face! ...
Oh how I love my babies. Even if they do make constant messes & stress me out at times. I love that they call my name & that sometimes only mama can comfort them. I love that they both are such hams & love to make people laugh. (Lately Asher's way of making someone laugh is to refer to potty humor. And I admit that I usually think it's pretty funny.) I love that they love the Savior & often bring my their story-book scriptures to read. I love that they are just as obsessed with books as Nate and I are. I relish their cuddles and their soft, chubby bodies. Like my sis-in-law mentioned in a post recently, they are my babies, but not really. They are gifts-on-loan to me from their Father in Heaven. They were his babies first. And He loves them. I'm grateful that He has entrusted Nate and I with some of His most precious spirits. I can't begin to describe how much I look forward to all the babies He has in store for our little family. Above all, I am grateful to know that we can be together for all eternity.

These pictures are so cute. I love Collin's one handed ride on the pony...too cute!
What a darling post! Such cuties, and their very distinct personalities shine through. I especially enjoyed hearing how much you enjoy being a mom! You are so right, our babies are not just our babies alone....they were and are His babies first - we are blessed to be able to raise them here. I can't wait to see you all in a couple weeks!!!
XXXOOO G-ma B.
Love Collin eating the Cheerios, classic! Shot of him riding the horse is so funny, totally a cool guy, no worries in the world. Love that Asher has a heart for animals, I think that makes kids more tender hearted in general.
Farms are so much fun I bet Thanksgiving Point is amazing! I love the picture of Collin on the horse :)
love the cheerio on the forehead.
