Happy Belated Turkey Day!
We were lucky enough to have Nate's parents visiting from Utah for the week of Thanksgiving. They spoiled us all, but were especially doting on Asher who simply loved all the attention. He and Grandpa Clegg even shared some mutual understanding of an invented language. :)
They babysat for us Wednesday night while Nate and I went to the Coldplay concert. Wow. What can I say about that?! We had tickets in the second row, right on the floor. We've seen them on 3 different tours and they never fail to impress. It was just AMAZING. I did get in a fight with some girl...it was actually kinda funny. (all my good pics & videos are on my cell...)
Anyway! Thanksgiving day meant lots of cooking, but we had a delicious menu that included:
Brined Turkey, Ham, Southern Cornbread & Sausage Stuffing, Pies galore (including a wonderful frend custard), Halvor's Dinner Rolls, Mashed Taters, Green Bean Casserole, ETC.
Halvor & Miriam- Thanks again for coming to visit- we love you!
